The slow food movement has ironically picked up so much momentum in the past few years due to a number of factors. The shift away from processed foods due to growing knowledge of negative health implications, people wanting to feel more connected to the things they eat and purchase (this goes for food and buying vs. making your own housewares), and a growing sense of reflection. We're openly challenging ourselves to be more honestly about how we chose to live, and whether we're on that path towards our ideal lifestyles. It's why some people quit their jobs, why some of us move to small corners of the world, why others abandon toxic friendships or seek new love, and it's why there are any number of shelter publications focused on the small, simple moments of life now exist. Kinfolk, Anthology, Sated, Sweet Paul, it goes on, and it's a beautiful thing.
A lifestyle say a great deal about our character , and this video that focuses on a modern day shepherd in France and his choice to be a producer and a provider is beautifully done. Hope you enjoy this one as much as I did.
