Foo Fighters

Been listening to the Foo Fighter's newest album Wasting Light. It should go without saying that Dave Grohl and Co. are bad ass. Over ten years of making music and evolving. If you haven't seen the video for their first single "Walk", feel free to check it out here. Nice little homage to Michael Douglas' character in "Falling Down".

But the Foo Fighter's video for "Pretender" from the 2007 album Echoes, Silence, Patience, & Grace is probably one of my all time favorites from them. I love the entire art direction and the concept. Check the sterile, clean design of a white plexi glass floor matched with slick red wall . The video was directed by Sam Brown, who's direction I LOVE! He's the mastermind behind Jay-Z's "On To The Next One" and Corinne Bailey Rae's "Put Your Records On". He's pretty awesome at matching slick style with a bit of a slant.
