(Found via Sarah Jarosz' site)

One of my favorite listens as of late is bluegrass prodigy Sarah Jarosz. I listened to her live set at New York's The Living Room tonight thanks to NPR and was beyond moved by her voice. Sarah's second album Follow Me Down is out tomorrow, May 17th, same day as my dad's birthday (Hi dad!), and is being released via Sugar Hill Records.

Mandolins and clawhammer banjos abound on what is ultimately a beautiful, romantic record. There are two covers on this album from disparate genres, one being a drowsy but luscious and sultry cover of Radiohead's "The Tourist". One of my favorite tracks is "Annabelle Lee", which you can hear a bit of in the video below, but also in full over at NPR. Definitely a great find and worthwhile addition to your music collection.
