Charm City

Ahhhh yes...Summer has really been flirting with spring this week. The three-day holiday weekend has been great so far. Dinner, long hilarious conversations, all night dancing, hanging with familiar faces and meeting new ones. All the frozen yogurt by the ounce one can stand, great music...and that was just on Friday ;-)

Took a spontaneous trip to the Charm City itself, Baltimore, yesterday for a few hours to visit one of my best girlfriends and had a great time soaking in the cute, quaint neighborhood of Charles Village, venturing to Fells Point and having the best friggin' blueberry pie and pineapple-upside down cake ever!!! You have to visit this little mom-n-pop diner called Jimmy's sometime. We also hit up the record store The Sound Garden, but had to force ourselves to keep it moving because that store--with its huge selection of music, DVDs, and books--will suck you in.

Ended the evening back in D.C taking in the Memorial Day Concert rehearsal at the Capitol and taking a late night stroll through the National Mall with a friend. (The concert is going to be so good when it airs nationally on Monday).

Everyday I love this city, but it's weekends like this that make me feel incredibly lucky I can call her mine. I don't have a Sunday playlist for you, but I have some pretty pictures :)

xo,
Nicole
