Digital Symphony

Last night while talking with a friend, who never ceases to delight me with his wealth of music knowledge and references, he sent me a link to this great collaborative project among the YouTube community called in Bb 2.0. It's a cooperative project, operated by Darren Solomon from Science for Girls, and is one of the best efforts I've seen to meld the innovative resource of technology with the creative talents of people around the world. Through in Bb 2.0 you can listen to a cornucopia of instruments simultaneously, or make smaller arrangements from two or three videos.

Remember the YouTube Symphony Orchestra at Carnegie Hall awhile ago? It's sort of like that, but with a smaller audience. Here's the YouTube Symphony Orchestra. It's fairly lengthy, but such a wonderful, worthwhile experience. Feel free to grab a bite first ;)
